Mark Nozaki, PCC, MSOD, MSOR

Mark Nozaki is President and co-founder of Odyssey Leadership Consulting which is an organization and leadership development firm that serves government, private, and non-profit organizations. He has been a faculty member for OPM’s Center for Leadership Development and the Federal Executive Institute during the past 18 years. His areas of expertise include leadership and team development, executive and leadership coaching, managing organizational change and transition, strategic thinking and planning, leadership assessment and development tools (OPM 360, Kouzes and Posner LPI, MBTI, Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, and others), Appreciative Inquiry, SWOT and TOWS analysis, conflict resolution, and organizational culture assessments.  In addition, he has an engineering and technical background, which enables him to provide a quantitative and analytical approach in developing client solutions.  

During his career, he has played a lead role in several major large-scale organizational change efforts and strategic initiatives. In addition to his faculty appointment to FEI, he has served on the faculties of the University of Virginia Leadership Development Center and the Center for Executive Development, Georgetown University Continuing and Professional Studies, and American University MSOD Program. He is an ICF-certified Executive Coach and has worked with over 250 federal and private sector leaders.  

Mark holds a Master of Science Degree in Organization Development from American University/NTL Institute, a Master of Science Degree in Operations Research, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the University of Southern California. 

He currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife, Grace, and Cooper the Beagle.
