Topic
Coaching & Mentoring
Full-day Course
Overview
Coaching and mentoring are two of a supervisor’s most important responsibilities. Your ability to master both sets of skills affects the degree to which your employees can improve their performance and develop their potential. An effective coach knows how to communicate expectations of performance to employees, provide continuous feedback, assist in removing obstacles, and ensure that appropriate resources are available. Much like coaches of sports teams, supervisors must keep their work teams focused on shared goals for success.   This class will help you develop your abilities as coach and mentor. You will learn how to use strategies to enable your employees to perform their jobs at a level that benefits the individual employee, team, and organization.
