Dr. Hartwig has served as a leader in the business and faith communities of Charlottesville for over twenty years. Prior to this, he served for ten years as a chaplain at Princeton University.  He has extensive experience serving both nonprofit and for-profit entities in the areas of conflict management, work-place culture, mediation, facilitation, and reconciliation in the US and Europe.  A central theme of this course will involve Dr. Hartwig’s leadership in the build-up and aftermath of the violent racial events on August 12 in Charlottesville.
